Christopher Quinn, Marriage and Family Therapist
Originally from New York, Chris received his undergraduate degree from SUNY-Albany. After graduation, Chris spent seven years in the U.S. Navy as a pilot flying top-secret missions out of the Naval Air Test Center. At the end of his tenure, Chris worked as a commercial airline Captain. His extracurricular passion is building stone walls. “It’s cathartic. I feel one with the environment, balance, and love the sound of the stone when it falls into just the right space. It’s like the ‘Ah ha’ moment in therapy.”
Chris received his graduate degree from the UW-Madison School of Business, and his Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Edgewood College. Chris counsels couples, families, individuals, and veterans. He also provides communication coaching to individuals in the Collaborative Divorce process as well as in Madison Divorce Mediation. “Divorce is a reality but good hard work in marriage counseling may be the answer to avoiding this painful process.
Chris is a contracted specialist with the local Madison Area Vet Center where he reviews cases of combat- related veterans seeking marriage and family therapy.
“I view all work with couples, whether during marriage or within the divorce process as “repair work” toward respectfully redefining their relationship”.
